If you have ever been to the Java-U on the second floor of the Hall building, you may have noticed the ex-cigarette dispenser. It has been turned into an art dispenser by local zine creator Louis Rastelli.
The neat looking machines hold kitschy little local art pieces – at two bucks apiece. Now there are almost 70 local artists involved with the project, including musicians. For $2 you can get greeting cards, little puppets, comics, to name a few.
The second anniversary for Distroboto was celebrated on Friday at Casa Del Popolo, the site of the first machine. But, anyone can participate in this one of a kind celebration of art by visiting the machine in question.
