Robotic Arm Steals the Show

The competition was stiff at the 2008 Enterprize Business Plan Competition, but one business proposed by a pair of students from Montreal’s Ecole de Technologie Superieure clearly stood out to the panel of expert judges.
Charles Deguire, an electrical engineer with a specialization in healthcare technology, presented a business plan centered around a robotic arm he and his colleagues have engineered. The arm can be attached to any wheelchair to help handicapped people pick up items and perform daily tasks that would otherwise be impossible to them.
