As the third top female performer on Canadian Idol this season, Winnipeg’s Katelyn Dawn introduced herself to the nation and left a mark. Katelyn is proving that being voted off the top 16 isn’t the end of the line, but Idol wasn’t the beginning either.
Independently, Katelyn released two albums prior to her appearance on the series and has just released her first single to radio “When the Coffee’s Cold.”
While Katelyn’s coffee may get cold, her musical career is nowhere near cooling.
The 19-year-old Canadian has already experienced what it feels like to be an inspiration to others. Acclaimed artist Kenneth Hari discovered the songstress and the two met for a portrait sitting.
