Ignatieff shouldn’t have backed down

When the federal budget dropped last week in all its red-inked glory, the eyes of our nation were fixed on the newly minted Liberal leader, Michael Ignatieff. With both the Bloc and NDP publicly declaring they wouldn’t support the Conservative budget, it was Iggy who was left at the controls. His actions would either steady the ship or plunge it to the depths, sending us back to the polls.
