CSU continues to haggle the STM

The Concordia Student Union’s two-year campaign to extend student metro passes to all students, regardless of age, continues this year. Currently students over 26 do not qualify for the reduced fare.
SU campaigns coordinator Alejandro Lobo-Guerrero said the issue will be raised when candidates in the municipal election hold a debate at Concordia in October.
At a CSU council meeting in September, VP sustainability and projects John Kyras and VP services and Loyola Prince Ralph Osei said Concordia students could pay for their metro cards through a fee paid to the university.
