No love for Lady Bees

It was a heartbreaking Valentine’s Day for the Concordia Stingers’ women’s hockey team, who lost 3-0 against the McGill Martlets on Sunday. The Stingers are having a tough season, recording only one win (5-2) against the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Oct 18.
Left wing Emilie Luck has accumulated three goals and seven assists for a total of 10 points, three fewer than team-leading Erin Lally, who has four goals and nine assists for a total of 13 points.
Veteran Meghan George leads the team in penalty minutes, amassing a total of 28 minutes in the sin bin.

The women’s hockey team has two games left in the regular season. They face off at Carleton against the Ravens on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 6:00 p.m. and travel to McGill to play the Martlets again for the final game of the regular season on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 7:00 p.m.
