Ravens spank Stingers

The men’s basketball team went down to defeat against the Carleton Ravens, losing 81-70.
The Stingers were only down by three points with just over a minute remaining when Real Kitieu was called for travelling while attempting a dunk. The Ravens would finish the game from the foul line.
Concordia head coach John Dore was disappointed with the loss, but not with his teams effort. “We had our chances to win this game, but even though we played well, we missed some opportunities that we
shouldn’t have missed.”
Paul Larmand led the Ravens with 19 points and five rebounds. Carleton made eight of 16 three-point attempts whereas the Stingers only made four of 22.
“We make 25 per cent of out three pointers and it’s likely a different story,” Dore said. “We had our Z-game the other night [against Ottawa], today was our A-game.”
Kitieu had 21 points and seven rebounds to lead the Stingers and teammate Wayne Alexander had 14 points, all coming from the free throw line where he was 14-for-16.
The Stingers also lost to Ottawa on Friday, going down 81-74 to the Gee-Gees.
