Mezzanine gets renovated

The mezzanine has been renovated this summer in order to open up more space for groups who will be using them.
“The new renovations date back to two years ago, when the council of
representatives approved the plan,” said Keith Pruden, who headed the project and is the ex-co-ordinator of student affairs.
There will be permanent chairs and tables for student groups wanting to have information tables. Moreover, there will also be bulletin boards so that students can poster.
On the mezzanine, there will a booth for the Concordia Student Union (CSU) and between Java U and Reggie’s there will be booths for all the faculty associations and for the Graduate Student Association (GSA). Also, the space for the job and housing bank will be renovated.
“The project should be completed by the end of this week. It would have been finished by the Sept. 4, but there was a shortage of wood and steel,” said Pruden.
