It is not unusual for a team coached by John Dore to be playing in a QSSF final. After all, the Concordia Stingers men's basketball team has made appearances in five of the last six. What is surprising, and probably somewhat of a bigger surprise to the Laval Rouge et Or, is that the 2002-2003 version of the Concordia Stingers would be forcing them into a third and deciding QSSF final game right in there own gym.

Time Out: Stingers in critical spot

Never say die, boys. This has to be the mentality of the Concordia Stingers' men's hockey team at this point in the year. At 7-8-1, they have climbed back into the playoff race after sitting deep in last place for most of the 2001-02 season. Their 2-1 record last week helped bring them to within six points of the third-place Ottawa Gee-Gees, and are looking to overtake them in the coming weeks.
