writing for The Concordian

This letter isn’t meant to be published in the paper – I just have a question for the editor. I am transfering to Concordia next semester and I want to write for the The Concordian. I spent this year writing for the entertainment section of the University of Maryland daily, The Diamondback, and I want to continue writing once I transfer. How can I join the staff? I can work up an application with clips, if that is necessary. Does The Concordian pay its writers? My strength is feature/interview writing. Is there much room for that in the entertainment section?

Thanks,
Greg
