The CSU council held a special meeting July 7 to address a succession of disagreements between the CSU executive and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), CSU workers’ union, over their collective agreement.
CUPE president Christina Xydous threatened to challenge the CSU executive in arbitration by university bodies if the CSU did not resolve violations outlined in a report to council.
