Mtl protests occupation

Downtown Montreal attracted an estimated 7,000 anti-war protestors last Saturday.

They marched on the first anniversary of the United States-led war in Iraq, but the scope of the demonstration was the opposition to the U.S.-backed military hegemony the world throughout. Protestors called on the withdrawal of troops from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine.
