ConU Confidential: love the outdoors?

To end this year on a friendly, light and upbeat note, I want to introduce you to someone who exemplifies all of these characteristics, and more. She’s a Pisces with a foot fetish, which is apparently a peculiar fascination held by those born under this sign, and she is by far one of the most beautiful single females you will ever have the chance to meet on campus.

Full Name: Elizabeth Ann Farrell
Age: 21
Astrology sign: Between the cusp of Aquarius and Pisces, but I consider myself more of a Pisces.
Current program, year: first year in psychology
Where we would find you:
1- At school? At the downtown and Loyola libraries.
2- Outside of school? At Fouf’s, at the Loft, or working out at the Y in Westmount.
The last book you’ve read? (Laughs) My psychology book-I don’t know what it’s called.
What’s in your CD player? Restrain (my friends’ band); the new live Strung Out CD, and anything by AFI.
One person you can’t live without? My sister. She’s a party girl and she’s the most fun person to hang out with. I love partying with her because she’s hilarious. I can do just about everything with her: gossiping, shopping…borrowing her clothes.
Your ultimate goal in life? To be happy every single day and to live life with no regrets-if you’re not happy, what’s the point of living?
Your favourite drug? I don’t like drugs. I think you can just get high dancing like a fool while you’re wasted and completely uninhibited.
Three passions in life: I love the outdoors-riding my horse, being in the country; it makes me feel completely free and I feel like I’m reborn again. You forget about the rest of the world. I also love hanging out with my friends because they’re entertaining and they make me forget about my stresses in life; they help you to enjoy yourself in the moment. And finally, I’m passionate about landscape architecture because it combines two of my favourite things; nature and design.
One idiosyncratic behaviour you have that no one knows about: I can’t stand waiting for the metro or buses; I can’t stand still so I end up walking around in circles. Oh yeah, and twirling my hair. In class sometimes, I’ll twirl my hair for the entire hour and 15 minutes.
What is success according to you? Achieving your own goals and standards which you’ve set for yourself. Although I think it’s impossible to achieve 100 per cent success, my personal success includes being nice to others; not being selfish;-the freaking ten commandments.
What social issues concern you most? Environmental issues-I think that what we are doing to our country is horrible. In economics, the worst thing of all is “externalies,” which are actually the most important part of our country but which we are not taking into consideration and we’re destroying; it’s horrible.
The thing that turns you on the most about the opposite sex: I like a guy who’s really talented in a certain area, or who possesses a certain skill, like a musician or a skateboarder. I also like guys who are funny yet down-to-earth; someone with whom the conversation just rolls and you don’t have to figure out what you’re going to think of next; and a guy with a nice body-obviously (laughs).
An ongoing fantasy with the opposite sex? I have a new fantasy everyday-I daydream all the time and make up scenarios, but what sucks is that I’ll make it up but I know it’ll never happen any time soon. The one fantasy I would like to see happen though is set in a field, surrounded by trees, and camped out on a blanket so you can look up at the stars.
If you could be a dessert which would choose? Angel cake with whipped cream and raspberries on top; it’s delicious, light and fluffy-just like me.
Your daily motto is: Make the most of the time you have.
