Feeling down? The students at College Lasalle have just what it takes to fight your bad case of fall depression: a perfect mixture of window shopping, partying, seeing and being seen. Indeed, the second year students in fashion marketing at College Lasalle have put together their final term project, a fashion show of the 2006 spring and summer collection called Notice Me!
“The project, coordinated by a student team leader, has grown out of the efforts of a total of 55 students. The money needed to carry out the project came from a combination of students’ contributions and the profits from last year’s event,” explained Caroline Julie Leblanc, one of the students responsible for clothing in the project.
It will also be a great opportunity for those interested in fashion to mingle with the people who make it in Montreal. “We expect about 30 to 40 representatives from different companies to show up,” she said.
