“Absolutely amazing,” said backup goaltender, Ronald James about the men’s hockey team’s trip to Europe. The team spent the Christmas break (Dec 28 – Jan 7) on an exhibition tour to Europe.
“It was something I’ll never forget,” added James, the first year backstopper. The team posted a 2-2-1 record, with James filling in as starting goalie for veteran Pat Lepage who was not yet 100 per cent after coming off an injury.
A few of the guys celebrated the new year at a restaurant that was actually closed, but the owner invited them, saying that he liked “crazy Canadians.”
