Writers Read at Concordia series:

Current board members of the Canadian Federation of Students-Quebec say they're concerned about a series of cheques that were, according to cheque requisition forms, issued to their organization by Concordia University. The CFS-Q represents undergraduate and graduate students at Concordia University, post-graduate students at McGill University, as well as students at Dawson College, a CEGEP.

With letters, postcards and currency from dozens of countries dressing the walls of his office, it becomes obvious that Samuel Spadoni, stays in touch with people from a variety of cultures. Spadoni is the newly-elected President of the Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales (AIESEC), a student run organization offering international internship opportunities to its members.

Student protests were marred by violence Monday afternoon after a long day of angry exchanges between students peaked with a physical confrontation between students and the riot police. People from all walks of life as they converged in front of the Hall Building downtown to protest a scheduled speech by former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
