What is your look?
Casual, sometimes thrown together. Comfortable is important, with some semblance of organization and thought.
What do you have on right now?
Guess jeans and a t-shirt, both bought on sale. My brother’s Energie sweater, a Zara jacket and Pumas from Foot Locker.
Where is your favourite place to shop?
Zara – good prices and quality.
What is your favourite piece?
Definitely jeans. I can’t always wear jeans because of work but I hate not wearing jeans.
Anything in your closet you’d like to throw out?
A pair of jeans, about four years old. Torn at the bottom, with a hole in the crotch, but for some reason I wouldn’t stop wearing them. They’re at the bottom of my closet and it would probably take a whole day to dig them out.
What’s been your worst fashion faux-pax?
I went into transition in Grade 9, but before high school, it was an every day disaster. Baggy jeans and I had these platform Doc Marten boots that went above my ankle.
Any style icons?
I aspire to dress like someone like Brad Pitt. He is classy and stylish but not too “designer.” Just jeans, a shirt, a jacket .
On the street, do you ever see anything that makes you cringe?
Guys who wear skin-tight and tapered jeans, like so skin-tight they are a second skin. I don’t hate it; I just find it funny.
