With a 5-5 tie on Friday night against the University of Guelph Gryphons, and a 6-3 win over the York University Lions on Saturday, the Stingers were back on track, collecting three points along the way. With the three-point weekend, Concordia is now only one point behind division nemesis Ottawa.
The Stingers seem to be more comfortable without their captain, Trevor Hawkins, than they were two weeks ago, immediately after the injury. Coach Kevin Figsby has been tinkering around with his troops, trying to fill the crater-like void on his blue-line.
