Hockey rivalry is a beautiful thing, and all those patriotic bleu-blanc-rouge t-shirts look extremely relevant at this time of year. It’s the hockey hatred shirts I have more of an issue with – anti-anything shirts in general, really – but I had to admit myself defeated when a friend showed up at work in a “Maple Leafs Suck” tee last week. The back read “Sundin Swallows.”
Incidentally, it’s been 40 years since the Cup was in Toronto. Ironic hockey shirts: 1, Maple Leafs: 0.
