After months of negotiations a contract dispute between Concordia University and its support staff is close to a resolution, said union President André Legault.
The support staff union has been without a contract since 2002 and has been close to striking in recent months.
Legault said that negotiations last held week have put the two sides “very close to an agreement in principle.”
While he said that the agreement had not yet been reached, Legault thinks that when the two sides return to the table this Friday they will be able to come to an agreement.
“If everything is finalized this Friday we’ll have an agreement in principle,” he said.
