Madonna serves up the sweets nice ‘n hard

“She loves candy!” Madonna’s trusty rep, Liz Rosenberg, announced about the material girl’s forthcoming album Hard Candy. “It’s about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness, or as Madonna so eloquently expressed, ‘I’m gonna kick your ass, but it’s going to make you feel good.'”
This is Madonna’s eleventh studio album and once again she has all the major components perfectly lined up like the stars. Hard Candy will feature Justin Timberlake on multiple tracks with production by Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Nate “Danja” Hills. Kanye West, Akon and Felix Da Housecat stand as reported collaborators.
There is already talk that Hard Candy will be a massive hit and Madonna’s most ambitious work to date. Should this come as a surprise?
Madonna, who is turning 50 in August, could name her next album The Granny Panties and somehow still generate world acclaim and a handful of chart toppers.
The album features the leaked tracks “Candy Store”, “Beat Goes On”, and “Give It 2 Me”. The first single, “4 minutes” featuring Justin Timberlake, will be released in late March.

Hard Candy will be released April 29.
