Greig Nori might be best known as the former front man of the pop/rock punk band Treble Charger, but he’s still making hits producing bands like Cauterize and 2008 Juno nominees Sum 41 and Hedley.
“I am really proud of Hedley,” Nori said of the 2008 Group of the Year nominee.
“They sold 100,000 records in Canada and that’s nearly unheard of these days. They’re breaking records.”
Famous Last Words, Hedley’s second full-length album, debuted at no. 3 on the charts and went platinum just 10 days after its release.
“The song ‘For the Nights I Can’t Remember’ off Famous Last Words is a major hit across Canada and is a great display of how talented Jacob Hoggard is,” Nori said.
Hoggard may have placed third in season two of Canadian Idol, but stands to lead the most successful career of any of the Idol contestants.
“He is probably one of the best talents I have ever worked with,” Nori admitted.
“The kid is pure talent. Jacob Hoggard is just unbelievable.”
