Turtledove

I do not know who you are
or where you may be. Certain I
am as winter turns to spring that
one day when the stars align,
you will know my name and I yours.

Hand in hand we will walk through
this life, facing whatever obstacles
come our way, always enduring
together.

My heart entwined with yours beats
as one. Alone you must never feel,
for I am out there waiting to sing
your name.

Precious melody we will make,
colours none have ever
seen. For our love will be
more luminous than the Sun.

Certain I am as tides rise and fall
that one day when the stars align,
you will know my name and I yours.
