Against Me! frontman Tom Gabel doesn’t have much to complain about these days.
This summer alone was so first-rate that the Florida foursome should look into changing their band name to With Me! with all odds are on their side.
“There was a time when I thought the whole world was against me, but things have changed!” Gabel laughed.
Against Me! started the summer off as musical guests on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and then joined the ranks of the Warped Tour for their second year. The good times kept rolling straight into their headlining tour and a spot in the Virgin Festival.
“Things have been great!” said the 28-year-old frontman. “Most importantly our fans have been great. Their positive reactions help us put on a good show and be better musicians.”
One yet another positive note and something fans can look forwards to, Tom Gabel is excitedly planning the release of a solo EP.
“It’s been very fulfilling. It’s nice to be able to do different things and mix it up.”
It must also be nice being Against Me!
