Ipod Picks of Jennifer Paige

“I recently read that you must know the history of music to add to its future,” said singer-songwriter Jennifer Paige.
This starlet definitely has that history lesson down since she helped write a significant chapter.
Ten years ago Paige made the first splash in the wave of teen-pop princesses with the international hit “Crush.” Months later Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Jessica Simpson would follow and dominate the surf.
Fast forward to 2008, Paige didn’t wipe out and isn’t the typical one hit wonder. She simply took on a more tasteful, focused and independent direction. Paige is still standing and recently celebrated 10 years in the industry with the release of her fourth album Best Kept Secret.
“I’m so proud of this album. I’ve grown so much and it’s affected my music for the better,” Paige reflected.
“Hearing great music is some of the best inspiration any artist can have,” Paige said. “My iPod stays on shuffle a lot. Anyone from Michael Jackson to Etta James, it’s a crazy mix.”
Jennifer Paige offers a handful of what fills her iPod.

1. “Where I Stood”
Missy Higgins

2 “With Or Without You”
U2

3. “New Shoes”
Paolo Nutini

4. “Why”
Annie Lennox

5. “Almost Lover”
A Fine Frenzy
