Legacy

There is a place, a paradise I do not
Wish to escape. Colours swirl in every
Direction imaginable. Purity manifesting
Itself in this palace of ice.

My heart, my emotions feel
A strong affinity towards
The sphere. However,
I do not understand and wish
To know why this calling
Must be directed at me.

I must pull the sword from it’s
Slumber, dawn the suit and display
The great symbol across my chest.
Principles that must be upheld.

A legacy to honour, something
I will pass onto to you.
So this symbol
Carries on through the
Ages of time.

I hope one day you will know how
I stood up to make what was once
Wrong right forevermore. I will leave
The paradise I have known to give
you this gift, my heart and soul.
