Jeremy Hechtman directs this one-act play about two critics named Moon and Birdboot who watch a farcical staging of a murder mystery. They become involved in the actions of the play and their blunder sets in motion a series of events that parallel its plot.

The Rape of Lucretia premiere
An opera in two acts, Benjamin Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia is a story of jealousy and lust. Junius and Collatinus are Roman generals who associate with Tarquinius, an Etruscan prince. Things go awry when Collatinus claims that his wife Lucretia is unconditionally faithful to him. Jealous, Junius asks Tarquinius to test that faithfulness.

Rockabilly 514 screening
For some, rock n’ roll is more than a music genre – it’s a way of life. Rockabilly 514 documents the lives of a group of young Montrealers who’ve adopted the 50s rock n’ roll lifestyle. For three years, directors Patricia Chica and Mike Wafer have followed prominent members of the local rockabilly community, such as Bloodshot Bill, The Cockroaches, Nathalie Lavergne, and Mlle Oui Oui Encore.
