Sneak a peak. In the spirit of spring-cleaning, the gallery will be airing out the art from its vaults. Using the maximum amount of space during this limited amount of time, all paintings from multiple artists will have a chance for all to see. It’s also a glimpse and critique of the curating process.

The Association of Alms is hosting a benefit production of the Vagina Monologues at Concordia University. It is part of the 2009 V-Day campaign to stop violence against women and girls.

Montreal Human Rights Film Festival Opening Night @ H-110
8, an insightful film about the 2000 commitment by 191 countries to halve world poverty by 2015, acts as a yardstick to gauge progress and remind the leaders involved of their assertion.

Sense and Sustainabilty @ Université de Montréal
Scholars, artists and activists across North America are coming to Montreal in an effort to make sense of sustainability. The conference is in the spirit of self-sustainability, as well as environmental sustainability. Expect diverse critiques of our consumer-economic model.
