The Women’s Studies Association of Concordia and the Centre des Femmes de l’UQAM bring you the second edition of Back Off!: Dissident Representations in Art and Social Movements, a day of conferences and workshops focusing on political art as a catalyst for social change. Back Off! offers bilingual activities, on-site childcare, access to people with reduced mobility, and free food.

The public is invited to be part of an event that mixes film, performance, and architecture. Twenty people will be asked to a secret location to follow instructions on iPods. They’ll be filmed during the 30-minute event, three experimental shorts will be made, and participants will be invited to view them at a later screening.
