Stingers solidify hold on division

The Concordia Stingers solidified their hold on first place in the QIFC last Saturday afternoon with a 22-5 triumph over the Bishop’s Gaiters in a cold affair at Concordia Stadium where the wind was constantly lurking around.
In the opening quarter, the offenses of both teams were only able to combine for one point. Stingers kicker Rob McCallum, who struggled on the day, missed a 45-yard field goal attempt but he settled for a single point, giving the Stingers a 1-0 lead. He also missed attempts from 49 and 34 yards.
