Rotaract and comedy funding Ugandan shelters

The Rotaract Club of Concordia, a student version of the Rotary Club, raised over $900 with a Comedy Night Feb. 8. The money is to be donated to the Forum on International Cooperation of Concordia to help them build shelters for children in Uganda this summer. Over 100 Concordia students and friends showed up at the Comedy Works on Bishop St. to see comedians from Montreal and Toronto, whose jokes ranged from orphan children to moose crossings.
