Concordia grad returns as director

Heather Markgraf Lowe, who graduated from Concordia’s theatre program in 1992, returns to her former school to direct Till We Meet Again.
“It is special to be at Concordia,” she wrote via email. “The Oscar Peterson Hall is a wonderful venue and it is very exciting to be performing there.”
The musical takes place during the Second World War, through the perspective of a live Canadian radio show called Music of the Stars. The show “contains letters from home, commercials, report from the front, news, announcements and lots of songs and choreography.” The scene above shows actor Pierre Lenoir as the radio station manager, creating sound effects for the commercials that were read on live radio shows at the time.
Till We Meet Again plays Oct. 16 to 18 at Oscar Peterson Hall, at Concordia’s Loyola Campus.
