Concordia’s Communications department had a less than perfect start to the new school year with the discovery that two projectors worth $10,000 together were stolen from the Loyola campus over the Labour Day weekend.
“It was frustrating. We worked as hard as possible to have our facilities ready for the first day,” said Martin Allor, the chair of the communications department.
Allor had gone over to the Central Building early in the morning on Sept. 4 to make sure everything was ready for the first day of class only to find the recently installed equipment, in rooms CC-119 and CC-123, gone.
Campus security is investigating the case although the chances of finding the perpetrators are slim. “As far as I’m concerned there were no eyewitnesses. I’m at a loss,” said Paul Aub
