Numerous students groups assembled at the Hall building last Thursday in support of the Dawson Student Union (DSU) who are currently involved in a lawsuit with the college’s administration over allegedly withholding the union’s funds.
Melanie Hotchkiss, president of the DSU, headed the morning press conference by informing students of the union’s current power struggle with their college.
“What the administration is doing is illegal,” Hotchkiss said. “Students elected this executive and we are here to represent them.”
