The Alberta Golden Bears defeated the Lakehead Wolves 3-2 in the Championship game of the CIS men’s hockey National Championships. It was Alberta’s 12th National Championship. The game was played in front of 7,615 at Rexall Place in Edmonton.

The Concordia Stingers women's basketball team split back-to-back games this weekend at home against the Laval Rouge et Or and on the road against the McGill Martlets. They fell to Laval 60-46 with captain Pascale Morin and Graziella Charles leading the way with 17 points, with Lavals Caroline D'amours leading her team with 17 points as well.

Concordia falls to unbeaten Laval

The Concordia women's basketball team was defeated 74-66 in a down-to-the-wire match against the Laval Rouge et Or. Laval is currently ranked the top team in the division. Concordia's eight point margin is the closest that any team has come to beating them all season.
