The Human Library came to Concordia’s Loyola campus on Saturday. Participants in the Vanier Library event could “borrow” a person and have a conversation with them for up to 30 minutes. The idea originated in Denmark in 2000 and has been held in over 25 countries to date. At Concordia, 25 human “books,” some in French as well as English, were available to “lend out,” with titles like lemonAIDS, Mommy, Can You Play With Me?
