Chocolate

Oh chocolate how I love you so.
You delight me with your every attendance.
No matter what the selection you
make the food taste so fine.

I have loved you since I was five and
I will love you till the day I die.
You are just so divine.

You are like my favourite present,
my taste buds await your presence.
You will always be mine.

It’s the way you look, the way you smell
that makes me run towards you
like a cow hearing a bell.

I cherish your every form and am
relieved you are sold at every candy store.
I will always want more.

No matter what the region you make
children everywhere smile,
and leave them dreaming about you for awhile.
You are the window to happiness.

Oh chocolate how I love you so.
