Nearly 2,000 students waited in anticipation for Snoop Dogg at the Free CSU orientation concert at the Olympia Monday night. Doors opened as early as 6:30 for the 7p.m. start time. Students rushed in as organizers were capping the limit to capacity. The crowd were revved up by several opening acts, including battle of the bands winner and current Snoop Dogg touring opener Ko. Snoop Dogg ended up starting late as students chants changed from “we want Snoop” to boos for the wait. He came out to screaming fans as a member from his crew sprayed the rowdy crowd with champagne.
