While his last movies have somehow gone under the radar, Woody Allen is back in force with Match Point, an intense drama about love, passion, and deception. In spite of its perfect combination of passion, mystery and dark humour, this movie was given the cold shoulder at this year’s Golden Globes ceremony. Let’s just hope it gets what it truly deserves at the upcoming Academy Awards ceremony.
